AGING and ARTHRITIS.

Arthritis is a general term describing inflammation in the joints. The most common form of arthritis is osteoarthritis, which is also called degenerative joint disease. Osteoarthritis is associated with a breakdown of cartillage in joints and most commonly occurs in the hips, knees and spine.

It can dramatically affect the finger and toe joints.

With 60 million Americans suffering from arthritis, there is an arthritis epidemic. John Klippel, Medical Director of the Arthritis Foundation, flatly stated; this should be a wakeup call. We've always thought the problem was greater than expected.

Unfortunately, the common methods of treatment won't change the progression of osteoarthritis. However, dietary collagen supplements like Natural Collagen Colvita, have been found to relieve pain and slow the breakdown of cartiligae, which in itself is a significant part of osteoarthritis. What is particularly interesting is that collagen is a major component of normal cartilage. Some researchers have successfully demonstrated that taking Natural Collagen Colvita appears to stimulate new collagen production
